The village church is being painted.
A bit of a shock to see the beautifully faded and classic clock tower, ex-foliated and now daubed with a thick white foundation. The tarting up is to be finished with generous smears of rouge.
We'll get used to it ... I'll post a photo when the make-over is completed.
