After last nights game of hide n' seek with Jake our Border Collie. I'm quite tired. Fortunately I got a few hours more sleep than I expected, we set off to Gibraltar at around 11:30h. We called into the Venta El Socorro in Gaucín for a coffee but his machine was rotoed (Spanglish for broken) so we put on a Euro Millions lottery ticket and went to the Gasolinería Bar.
We drove to La Linea. We were both hungry so a had quick burger before we crossed the border.
We watched this lovely bird hopping around in a bush in the car park. It's a Subalpine Warbler, beautiful markings and a beady orange eye.
Gibraltar from McDonalds Car Park La Linea. :-)
We drove to join the queue to drive across the border.
Gibraltar from near the port in La Linea.

The border is a busy place. With a constant stream of cars, scooters (which are very popular as you can jump the queue and park a little easier) and pedestrians.
The chap on the left is selling lottery tickets.
Checkpoint Carlos.
Jane had to sort out some paperwork. When she'd got it completed, I took her to the Anglican Cathedral which I'd visited a few days ago. Tuesday had been overcast and wet. Today it was bright and sunny, it was like walking into a different building.

We bought a Gibraltar SIM card for our mobile. We can put the Gibraltar number on business cards which we're going to have printed. We're also having some shirts printed with our Gibraltar web site on them.
We enjoyed a walk up and down Main Street before quickly shopping in Morrisons.
We drove back to Benarrabá. We went straight out to see the donkeys.
Later we watched a film. 'The Bank Job'. A true story of a bank robbery in London. Directed by Roger Donaldson. With Jason Statham, Saffron Burrows and Stephen Campbell Moore. Very enjoyable, bent cops, royal intrigue, MI5 - MI6 ...
