Another beautiful day. Jane's working, so she's out early.
I spent the morning around the house. A really quick walk with the dogs to feed the donkeys and then straight back home. We'll walk them tomorrow.
I work in the afternoon. I'm making progress with the Gibraltar website.
I'm researching the history of Gibraltar and recent politics which is fascinating.
I like sitting in the 'Entrada' of the apartment. Our wireless network works up here. We've planted the 'Entrada' with foliage plants as it doesn't get direct sunlight during the hot summer months. Only when the sun is lower in the sky can the light slant in, and by then it is a lot less powerful.
The apartment is on the slopes of Mount Porón. An unusually round topped mountain that has been terraced with Gum Cistus, which are flowering still. The white dots are the flowers, some yellow Broom can still be seen in flower.
It was a little hazy to the north up the Genal Valley.
This is the Benarrabá vineyard. The young vines are starting to get leaves. It will be at least three years before we taste any wine.
Tash's four kittens are growing fast. They are safe inside the house.
They are beginning to open their eyes. Not completely yet just little slits.
I decided not take a flash photo ... not really fair on the poor things.
Jane gets back at around 21:15h. She's been shopping after work. She's off tomorrow and now the shopping is done she has the day free.
