Cats, Donkeys and a Strawberry Tree
Written by Geoff Forster
A beautiful sunny day again. We went to see Chico and Domingo.

We were sat under a Strawberry tree. A Madroño in Spanish. The tree appears on the Madrid coat of arms. It's fruits are edible but have an unpleasant pasty texture and not a lot of flavour to compensate. It is a fantastic ornamental tree.
Jane looked up and took this.

Then she turned the camera on me. Not usually a good idea but I quite like this close-up.

Back home we sat in the sun near the entrada. Some of our cats were sunbathing on a neighbour's roof.
This is Ella. Ella is just over one year old. A pretty cat.

Ella's brother is called Tosh. He's a character. Very vocal, always hungry and loves attention.

Amelia is Ella and Tosh's mother. Amelia appeared around our house three years ago, we believe she is around five years old. We think she used to be fed by an old man down the road, but he was taken into hospital and died. We're happy to take care of her and her lovely kittens.
Amelia and Ella have both been neutered as have all our female cats.

We sat in the warm sunshine and topped up our tans,
