An early start. We're off to Gibraltar. Jane has a job interview. She's very nervous. She hasn't had an interview for over seventeen years. We set off in pouring rain for the coast. We go on the peage (toll road) between Manilva and Guadiaro (85 centimos), it takes us fifty minutes to reach the border.
We parked in Morrisons. Went for a coffee in the store and bought a few groceries.
We sat in the car to kill time and went over a few last minute possible interview questions and answers.
We walked to the office where the interviews were being held. I wished Jane good luck.
I walked to Casemates Square to do some 'rainy day' photography.
Usually people are in the square wearing t-shirts and shorts, eating and drinking outside the bars. Today everyone was walking quickly and were well wrapped up. It was around 60°F but the wind was making it feel a lot colder.
This lady was moving too quickly for my shutter speed which I was leaving open as long as possible in the gloomy conditions.
This is Main Street.
The man with grey hair in the foreground is Stuart Martin. Stuart is a Newcastle United fan. He does tours of the rock in a minivan taxi. Look out for Stuart (his van has a NUFC pennant on the rear view mirror) if you are coming to Gibraltar to see the apes and caves.

Not a lovely day. However I was going to meet Jane in 'The Clipper'. So I headed to the warm, friendly atmosphere of this busy bar in 'Irish Town'.
Jane wasn't too long. A forty five minute interview. Which after a nervous start, she said went reasonably well. So we'll have to wait and see.
A cup of coffee warmed her up before we walked back to the car and drove across the border back into Spain.
Gibraltar from Spain.
An uneventful drive back up into the mountains where conditions were a little better.
In the evening we watched 'Before the Devil Knows Your Dead' starring Ethan Hawke, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Albert Finney & Marisa Tomei.
