We're up early and out to feed the donkeys.
More rain fell during the night.
The forecast is for better weather during the next week.
Lot's of flowers are starting to appear.
I have a wildflower book but it's not easy to identify them, and my memory for their names isn't good.
This is Fedia (Fedia Cornucopiae) in Spanish - Lechuguilla de la Alcarria.
Andaluz Storksbill - (Erodium Primulaceum) in Spanish - Aguja de Pastor
Our oldest cat Laura has suddenly become ill. She's seventeen years old and for the last year has lived a reclusive life in the spare bedroom. Only venturing out into the sunshine vey occasionally. Unfortunately she's lost coordination and hasn't eaten or drunk anything for a day or two. Her sister Lucy died in 2005 after a bout of illness with similar symptons.
Later we watched some films. It's the Oscars this evening.
We watched 'Fargo' which won two in 2006 - Frances McDormand - Best Actress in a Leading Role & Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen
Ethan Coen & Joel Coen.
An excellent film 'Ya' if you haven't seen this one ...
The Coen brothers are nominatred this year for 'No Country For Old Men'
We also watched 'I am Legend' starring Will Smith.
A viral cure for cancer wipes out most of the human race. Th rest are turned into light hating zombies ... good, if you like this genre of movies.
