More fantastic weather it really is getting warm now.
We've been to the donkeys and given them their seed and hay.
Back in Benarrabá it's the opening day of the Feria Gastronómica. This is an annual event. It attracts stallholders and visitors from all over the area.
Lots of food products as you'd guess but also arts and craftwork stalls.
This is the alcalde (Mayor) of Benarrabá Silvestre Barroso Jarillo (PP).
Vino was served in the traditional manner by 'El Venenciador' Antonio Ramos.
Antonio's father Andrés Ramos is famous for producing very fine pork products.
Andrés other son Cayatano is an expert jamón carver.
You can hire Antonio and his family to cater for parties or receptions.
The ladies of the Asociación de Mujeres de Benarrabá (Women's Association) had a stall selling pens and cakes. They also had some postcards of Benarrabá. They'd used some of my photographs.
A good day out. We called into Pub Bar Dami for coffee.
Back home we cooked a roast turkey breast, carrots and potatoes. We've run out of 'Bisto' so a trip to Gibraltar is needed muy pronto.
We watched ' The Brave One' starring Jodie Foster.
A good film. After 'Panic Room' and 'Flight Plan' I'd like to see Jodie Foster act with some other really good actors instead of just appearing in these films where the female lead dominates the movie.
She is good and the film is worth watching if you get chance.
