Friday 24th October 2008 - Nice sunrise but black day for the economy
Written by Geoff Forster
06:00 - Light rain falling. It's just started.
I'm working writing for our Gibraltar website. It's coming along.
We're getting more and more visitors week by week.
07:00 - The rain has stopped. A light soaking good for the campo.
08:00 - Up on the sun terrace to see the dawn.

Jane's at work, the donkeys are well. Rosie's little foal is growing fast.
I've got some photo's I'll post soon.
I do intend doing a 'back-dated' blog for August - September and October to catch up.
I'm going to do posts daily if I can.
I've decided to add times and do them in chunks so I may write each day in two or three sections.
This may compensate those 'blog' addicts who I've let down over the summer.
13:00 - Worked most of the morning. The site's been down, my US hosts are having server problems.
14:00 - Doom and gloom on the financial markets. Overnight Eastern markets fell by 8-10%. London's down 7%. The US futures are suspendede they are expected to go through the floor.
Could be a really black Friday.
Hopefully they'll hit a bottom and will stabalise and recover.
16:00 - A lovely afternoon, sunny with a few fluffy cumulus floating slowly overhead.
One of our adopted cats has had five healthy kittens.
They are about eight weeks old and are very fast and playful.
Jane's parents were over in September, they named them Ella, Bella, Amber, Tish & Tosh.
We already have a cat called Tash ... I'm not going in the street and calling Tish, Tash & Tosh.
18:00 - Just fed the donkeys. Straw and seed mix.
I make a start on our dinner, a chicken casserole.
20:45 - Jane's back from a hard days work in Gibraltar.
The dogs, cats and donkeys are all fed and watered.
We eat dinner then watch a film.
Because Jane's days are long, we often watch films over two nights.
We started 'Joy Ride' last night. We've seen it before but are watching again it as we have 'Joy Ride 2' to watch.
'Joy Ride' is about two brothers who play a trick on a 'pyscho' trucker.
'Joy Ride 2' has different victims but the same loony lorry driver.
They're never going to win Oscars but are good for the 'road movie' genre.
