Getting Fitter?
Written by Geoff Forster
I set off today to feed and give water to Domingo and Chico our donkeys. I left it until mid afternoon to set off. It's still quite hot here.
I took Sally and Jake our Border Collies. It's the fifth time I've walked to the donkeys in the last fortnight. I guess it's around a six mile round trip. With one serious hill 1:4 (25%) and another couple of long steady uphill stretches on the way back.
I like to walk fast on the way without stopping.
Here are some shots from the return journey.
The campo is so green. Soon the Sweet Chestnuts will start turning a golden orange.
Sally and Jake love the woodland trails. This is Sally.
Both together (as usual). I thought of Ferdy a few times. He hadn't been able to come for long walks since early spring. So I'm used to walking with just the two.
Genalguacil.

Zoomed and overexposed, shot through a tree as the sun went down. I quite like it.
