Up before 6:00. Jane sets off a little earlier as she's driving over the border, filling up with petrol, driving to La Linea, then walking back across the border to work. Why? Petrol is a lot cheaper in Gibraltar. Currently around 25p a litre lower than in Spain. So worth it if you have an empty tank.
I find internet speeds are terrible again, so I can't do the blog. At around 09:30h. they miraculously 'fix' themselves and are back to what they should be. What is going on Telefonica?
I look at a few shopping carts trying to find the best solution. A question of reading reviews and trying to filter out the rubbish as you can't install and learn to use them all. There are hundreds, mainly hacked clones of a few open source programs.
Later I walk the dogs and feed the cats.
I watched the 'Cheltenham Gold Cup'. A great performance by Denman. I hope our friend Colin, who's been there all week took 9/4. A great 'value' bet in what was, and has been billed as a two horse race.
Jane got back at around 18:30h. We drove to the donkeys.
Then we went for tapas in Pub Bar Dami. Later we had coffee in Café Bar Guayácan.
Back home we watched 'The Hunting Party'. Directed by Richard Shepard. With Richard Gere, Terrence Howard, Jesse Eisenberg and Lejla Hadzimuratovic. Sad, funny, exciting, good story, great acting. Gere is brilliant. He was also excellent in 'The Hoax' and an old favourite of ours 'Mr Jones'. This one is worth watching.
So she works and you watch the Cheltnham Cup that seems fair
Hey I took her out later .. she bought me tapas …
