Up at 08:00h.
We go to Gaucín to post some cards.
Jane drives me to look at a tree in blossom near the school. I think it's called a Judas Tree.
We posted the cards. On the way back to the car I noticed two guys in dentist's clothes in a shop doorway. I asked if they were free to do a filling. (One fell out while I was in the UK). Within half an hour we were out of the surgery, filling done - 40€ / £30!
Next, mouth numb, we went to buy donkey seed and a few vegetables in Algatocín. It's a little cheaper and better quality than in the Nanta shop Gaucín.
Back home we started to defrost a turkey joint for a roast dinner tonight.
We spend the rest of the morning around the house. Jane's washing and ironing clothes for next week. I get on with developing the new website.
We went to walk the donkeys. The day started a little overcast but it's now sunny and very warm.
We sit under orange trees. Eating as many as we want (about six each!). The donkeys enjoy eating some long lush grass and wild flowers.
Back home I listen to the football and work, while Jane is on the other computer searching on e-Bay.
The football results are good. Only Middlesboro get a point.
We cooked our roast dinner which was very good.
Later we ate ice cream and watched 'Sideways'. Directed by Alexander Payne. With Paul Giamatti, Thomas Haden Church, Virginia Madsen and Sandra Oh.
'Sideways' won lots of awards for best screenplay, beautifully acted and set in California's beautiful wine country. Lots of people think this was the best film of 2004. I think LOTR 'Retun of the King' did deserve the Oscar.
