Another sunny day, the air is still cold as the wind is from the north east.
A planned trip to Gibraltar had to be postponed until tomorrow.
We're off to the nursery at San Pablo de Buceite but on the way we stop off in Gaucín to post a letter.
Whilst Jane goes to the P.O. I watch swallows flying over the road bridge. They skim low over the road catching insects. They follow a circular flight pattern around the bus stop and along the road outside Venta Socorro.
I took this of Cortes de la Frontera from the bridge.
We sat and had a coffee outside the venta before driving down to the nursery. On the way we stopped to take some photographs of the Guadiaro valley below Gaucín.
Looking to Jimena de la Frontera across the valley.
Looking down to the coast and Gibraltar.
My favourite. A lovely Olive tree.
Wild Flower by the roadside.
At the garden centre we bought some troughs with wire supports and hooks to hang along the balcony of the apartment sun terrace.
Here are a couple of photos from the nursery.

We couldn't find any trailing plants, so we set off for Viveros Martín at San Enrique.
On the way we passed Jimena de la Frontera.
Just after Jimena there are some straight stretches of road lined with Eucalyptus trees. We often see Buzzards hunting here or perched on poles watching and waiting. None today though.
We turned off to San Martín del Tesorillo. Then across to neighbouring El Secadero. A small pueblo a stones throw from San Martín. We went to Bar Martín for a coffee. The bar was pleasant, good coffee and very clean 'servicios'. It had a restaurante, serving a menu of the day.
I had a quick stroll around the pueblo taking a few photographs of the long straight streets fanning out from the main road. I'll add a page to our 'Places to Visit' section.
We got to the garden centre. Bought pots, around twenty plants, including a red coloured Bougainvillea. We'll train part of it along the sun terrace, another branch I'm planning to let cascade down the side of the house. In the garden centre I took three photographs of Orchids.

Next we drove to San Luis de Sabinillas, repeating our circular route from the other day. A quick look on the beach. No cold breeze here.
We then drove to Benarrabá where we went to feed the donkeys. I took this on the way. An Olive grove with Genalguacil in the background.
We fed the donkeys.
A kiss ... ?
Dolly and Molly the sheep came to see us. We fed them some seeds and hay. They aren't too keen on the hay but love seed.
This is Dolly.

Back in Benarrabá we watched 'Sleuth' starring Michael Caine and Jude Law. Interesting plot, with two good actors enjoying their roles. Strange for Michael Caine as he played the opposite role with Sir Laurence Olivier in 1972. Also strange that this DVD is available in Gibraltar but not on Amazon UK, like a lot of other recent releases.
I'm going to buy the original to compare the two versions.
We set the alarm clock for 6:00h. An early start down to Gibraltar.
Glad the blog is back and all is well with you both.
Keep up the good work
