We get an extra half hour of sleep as Jane starts a little later when she works on Saturdays.
I was going to go with her to Gibraltar to photograph a vintage car rally in Casemates Square. However unfortunately I stubbed my toe late last night coming down the entrada steps. My sandal half slipped off and as I did a strange hopping dance trying to get it back on I slipped down a step and twanged it against the joint. It's now a lovely purple colour. Sorry no photographs (foot & mouth in the same week?).
Jane deputised and took her camera.
Jane came home and we drove to the donkeys.
We called into Café Bar Guayácan for a coffee and some of Yolanda's excellent tapas. We met Rod Davidson and his lovely wife who's name has slipped my mind.(sorry) I'll come back and correct this when she sends me the photo's she took. They are both in the wine industry and were over to enjoy Spain and to research some vineyards. Something a lot of us living here do.
We had a good chat and got home around midnight.
We watched a totally inappropriate film called 'Teeth'. Directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein. With Jess Weixler, John Hensley, Josh Pais. A horror were a young girl has an extra set of teeth ... anyone trying it on with this young lady was left wishing they hadn't! I expected it to be a terrible low budget 'B' horror, but it was a large studio production and was carried by some excellent acting by the leading actress Jess Weixler. A few hilarious moments as you'd expect ... I almost hate recommending it given it's subject but it was well made, well acted and funny.

Some quite large cruise liners dock in Gibraltar, spilling thousands of day trippers onto the streets and shops of Gibraltar at regular intervals during the week.
Jane's lunch was later than the rally so no vintage cars. There's always next year. This is a vintage P.O. box.
Lots of people on Main Street as it was a beautiful sunny day.
Down in Casemate's Square now free of old bangers, the cafés and bars were doing a good trade in serving fish & chips, steak & ale pies to the masses seeking good old British food?

Back in Main Street and Jane's lunch hour is nearly over.
