A lovely day.
We're up quite early and drove to sit with the donkeys for a couple of hours.
My toe is still very sore so I'm limping around.
Jane spends some time topping up her tan.
I look after the dogs, cats and plants. It's getting warmer day by day, the smaller pots will soon need an early morning soaking and an evening soaking. It's not easy keeping plants alive in Spain you can't forget them for too long or it's adios to your hostas. Not easy plants to grow here but we ave two fine specimens we've had for four years now, both look marvelous. I'll take a photograph. I've a feeling I've just put a 'jinx' on my poor hostas. If the 'Andalucian Sun Gods' see this as a challenge ... it really wasn't meant like that ... sorry.
I let the dogs out yesterday and noticed Sam, our male Siamese, had something trapped near our grapevine. I thought it was going to be a lizard or a mouse. It turned out to be a beautiful little kitten around five weeks old. It was scared and I had to rescue it from Sam who was treating it a little roughly.
I cleaned it up and put it with the other four kittens. Tash, the mother soon took to it and was licking it. Later that evening she let it feed too. Amazing.
Charlie our cat was so keen to get to his food he went through this cardboard packaging instead of around it.

In the evening we cooked a roast lamb dinner and watched 'Cleaner'. Directed by Renny Harlin. With Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris and Eva Mendes.
An ex-cop becomes a private cleaner of crime scenes.
If some one is murdered in your house, the state takes the body, but you're responsible for the 'mess'. I'm not sure if this applies in the U.S. only, but it's something most people haven't considered ... good film.
