Beautiful sunny weather. A Bank Holiday in the UK so Jane's off too.
We drove to the donkeys. The campo is stunning at the moment. Wild flowers all along the verges and along the sides of the track. One part of the track is used less often and has two stripes from the tyres, so the centre is full of flowers.
This is Giant Thapsia growing in a clearing near a young Sweet Chestnut. Algatocín is the pueblo in the distance.

We spent an hour or two with the donkeys. Before driving back to Benarrabá

We sat on the sun terrace, the sun's getting quite fierce, thank goodness for our mountain breeze. Jane's a very dark brown, I don't like sitting around for too long so I go inside to listen to Newcastle United v Chelsea. A good first half where we were the better team and missed a few chances. Then Chelsea stepped up a gear and we lost 0-2.
Later Jane and I watched 'Untraceable'. Directed by Gregory Hoblit. With Diane Lane, Billy Burke and Colin Hanks.
A FBI 'Cyber Crimes' agent hunts an internet serial killer. The best film we've seen for a while. (Saw meets Silence of the Lambs)
