Beautiful sunny weather. Jane's back to work.
I spent all day (and I mean all day) cleaning the apartment, we've got guests arriving later today. I forgot to mention that over the weekend I put a couple of coats of paint on the ceiling and walls of the stairway in the apartment. (An exciting news update for you.)
Cleaning is boring. I had Radio 3 blasting out some classical music. I finished at 15:00h. So not a very interesting day to blog about.
Anne and Dyfed arrived from Málaga just before Jane came back from Gibraltar. Anne and Dyfed are regular visitors to Benarrabá, their daughters live in the campo not too far from the village. It was good to see them again.
We watched part of 'Diary of the Dead'. A zombie movie. The dead stop dying .... The death of death is filmed on camera by a media student and his rapidly decreasing group of classmates. I guess it's a trend to give one of the actors a camera in these disaster/horror movies. It occasionally makes for exciting first person footage but a lot of the time its just like watching an amateur home video. We lasted about an hour. I get bored with these American teen films where they get chased around woods by monsters. I really don't care if any of them survive. It's mindless formula film making, poor quality writing, poor acting. Straight onto DVD with a nice cover. That's the key ... spend all your budget on the DVD cover.
