Sunday November 2nd 2008 - Great Dawn - Sunshine - Lewis Hamilton
Written by Geoff Forster
07:30 - I'm up early for a Sunday. I'm keen to carry on with the new Javascript menu for the Gibraltar website.
08:00 - We had a great dawn. A fiery orange with a lovely blue.

10:00 - We set out into the campo. We're off to see Rosie and Chico. We daren't drive all the way as it has rained so much, we're unsure our little Clio would make it through of a couple of wet patches on the track that gets very rutted.
The donkeys and sheep are well. We feed them all seed.
12:00 - Back in Benarrabá the meat is cooking for lunch, we walk along to the plaza. This is the church from the road just below our house.
The plaza in Benarrabá is beautiful.
The Genal Valley looking north to Alpandeire.
We turned the corner to look south down the Genal valley toward the coast and the Sierra Crestellina near Casares. A bit of a surprise, the sky was grey and more rain was heading our way. This looks like a black and white photo, it isn't.
We went to Café Bar Guayácan for a coffee.
13:00 - We walked back home. I fed Domingo some extra seed and straw.
We had a fantastic lunch. Benarrabá pork and Yorkshire puddings.
17-00 - Later we watched Lewis Hamilton win the Driver's World Championship.
An amazing race. It's been an exciting season. You couldn't write a script like this, although at times I was wondering if the FIA were trying to make it come down to the wire.
I hope that a masterplan whipped-up by Max Mosley doesn't spoil the format of F1. He wants all teams to use the same engine. Let's hope he get plenty of stick about it, and that the teams carry on with engine development themselves.
20:00 - We started to watch a film called 'Tortured' starring Cole Hauser and Lawrence Fishburn. A good film, so far.
The expected rain held off and we only got a little during the night.
