Did You Know That ..?
If you click on a photo it will enlarge in a 'lightbox'.
If there is more than than one photo on the page clicking on the right hand side of the lightbox will load the next, and on the left hand side to go the previous. This works until you either reach the last, or return to the first photograph.

The blog is returning ...

Written by Geoff Forster

After a number of years of daily blogging.
The time-consuming routine became a chore and the blog slowly died.
A few attempts were made to give it the "kiss of life" but they failed and it was finally deleted and buried deep in the bowels of cyberspace.

Where it has rested until a strange alignment of planets (deleted bad Uranus joke) combined with mucho vino tinto made us consider resurrecting the once popular daily photo-blog.

We're also revisiting villages and towns in the area, updating our Places to Visit section.

We've just got back from Estación Gaucín and the Alcornocales forest.
Look out for photos in the next day or two.

Geoff

It would be good to see you back again…. I must admit, I do not find the Gib site as good as this but that is due to me being more interested in up near you and Jane. I look forwards to hearing more about the local news, views and weather oh! and the donkeys. If you see Sara in El Grecko send her our Love.

Thanks hope to keep you up to date on local happenings …

Saw Sara a couple of months ago … she looked well.

That would be great Geoff – I shall always be grateful for your blog bringing us to the Genal Valley and Gaucin.

I love reading about this wonderful part of the world!!
