Tuesday 11th November 2008 - Work - Videos
Written by Geoff Forster
06:00 - We're up and off to another early start. Jane heads off for Gibraltar and I start work on the Gibraltar website. I'm still adding videos to the site. It's going to take a few weeks to get all the pages how I want them. A few pages are done already.
Check out our UK News page. There's a drop down menu listing the currently active video enabled pages. I'm adding and updating the videos all the time. Fortunately once the code is in place it's easy to add new videos to the page. Not automatic as I want editorial control over what is published.
07:30 - I notice a bright red glow coming through the blinds. I was amazed to find it was the sunrise. I've never seen the sky that red before.
Here are a few photos.

18:00 - I worked all day. Then catch up on the blog.
'Tash' one of our cats has recovered from her neutering operation. We're keeping her inside until her stiches dissolve/fall out.
Charlie, Tash's brother is a wanderer. He's come back full of cold he's sneezing and one eye is weeping. I've been giving him Lysine an amino-acid that helps to clear symptoms of a herpes infection that some cats get. Hopefully he'll be okay in a day or two.
Jane will be back at around 21:00. I'm publishing this early as it's my birthday tomorrow. The big 50. If I'd planned properly I'd put a PayPal donate button here.
I'll have to remember to do this when I hit 100.
We've got a little tradition that we go out for a drive and I can choose where we go.
Usually the Alcornocales forest. I was going to suggest Istán and Ojén.
Unfortunately we have quite a lot of essential shopping to do, and no other time to do it.
We need a pane of glass from La Linea and a set of plates from a supermarket.
So I get to go shopping which I hate.
On a positive note, Jane's buying me an iPod but I can't decide which to get. So we'll be going to Gibraltar. There's a few types of iPod, then headphones, external speakers and dock ... as compensation I might force down a pint of 'Speckled Hen' in The Clipper.
Feliz Cumpleanos to me ....
Belated Happy Birthday
